October Accountability Plan Updates

We hope our transparency sparks conversation within the kink and BDSM communities about what it means to facilitate responsible adult spaces while embodying the standard.

Below are our October updates:

I’ve recently enrolled as a student of the ATL Institute of Tantra, studying under the somatic sensual leadership of Amina Peterson on the path to becoming a Certified Sexological Bodyworker. The work is rooted in erotic consent and radical integrity with a focus on somatic sensual healing. It’s helping to increase my awareness of Self, teaching me skills that can elevate me on a personal as well as a professional level.

My studies with Amina will include coursework and lectures on facilitating spaces for erotic bravery, skills needed to continue facilitating mindful events for The Haux Hive while honoring my responsibility to undergo Kink event organizer training as part of this accountability process.

  • ✅Create an accountability blog with a minimum of quarterly updates. Starting with a statement of acknowledgement of the incident

Please see our initial Accountability Plan post.

  • ✅Build a Haux Hive event team of people with experience facilitating kink events

We have a brand new managing team as well as event staff with experience facilitating kink events. All members are listed on our Team Page and shared via our social channels.

  • ✅Develop a policy and procedures doc with both internal and external processes.

We now have an ongoing internal processes doc as well as external processes which have been detailed on our FAQ page. If you have concerns that have not been addressed, please let us know so we may continue to update these policies and procedures.
