We’re 90 days into our accountability process and are pleased to report progress in both our organizational structure and event policies & procedures. Said updates are listed below.

Accountability Plan Updates

✅Create accountability blog with a minimum of monthly updates. Starting with statement of acknowledgement of the incident

✅Build a Haux Hive event team of people with experience facilitating kink events

We have a brand new managing team as well as event staff with experience facilitating kink events. All members will be listed on our Team Page and shared via our social channels within the month.

✅Develop a policy and procedures doc with both internal and external processes.

We now have an ongoing internal processes doc as well as external processes which have been detailed on our FAQ page. If you have concerns that have not been addressed, please let us know so we may continue to update theses policies and procedures.

✅Increase regular (quarterly minimum) public education on consent, play safety and dungeon etiquette.

We have addressed this concern with the creation of a new event Series, SAFE WORD: Adult Play in Practice.

SAFE WORD is a new monthly Haux Hive event series (2023) geared exclusively towards kink education and etiquette in a guided and interactive setting.

SAFE WORD is meant to serve as an introduction to kink, BDSM, and Haux Hive dungeon experiences. Guests will have the opportunity to experience a number of interactive ‘Play Stations’ centered around the current Safe Word theme.
